Olga Khamichonak is the founder of Blooming Minds STEAM Academy. She graduated from Minsk State Pedagogical College and Minsk State Linguistic University with a Bachelor’s in Teaching and a Master’s in Linguistics of the English Language. Olga began her career as a teacher of English in Minsk, Belarus, and for nearly 20 years, she has been teaching and tutoring children and adults of various ages and levels.
Having worked for Kaplan University, Olga successfully led training and educational programs with a strong focus on quality improvement. As a parent, she sought an alternative to traditional schools for her son. Despite her son attending a Blue Ribbon public school with excellent teachers, she felt he could be challenged more for maximum growth. As an immigrant, Olga places a high value on achievement, which inspired the creation of Blooming Minds STEAM Academy.
Our classes are goal-oriented, following SMART criteria: specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time-bound. Advanced students are enrolled in specialized programs tailored to their needs. Today, over 1,000 children, ages 3 through 18, receive a strong foundation in Math and Language through the various age-appropriate educational programs we offer.
